Important Update on Prieur FIE Epee and Foil Masks

The PRIEUR epee and foil mask features a patented fastening system that provides the security and durability expected for this type of equipment and has made the PRIEUR mask unique and recognizable for over 40 years. However, SEMI, the committee responsible for regulating equipment within the FIE and its control during international competitions, asked us to improve this fastening system in order to comply with its new standards and to facilitate control operations during FIE competitions. This improvement has been applied to all masks manufactured since June 2025 and consists mainly of adding an additional rivet to the ring at chin height. This addition must be present on all PRIEUR masks presented during weapon control at FIE competitions for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. Therefore, if your mask was purchased before June 2025 and does not display this easily recognizable change, we recommend that you make it.
